Hsiao-Lin Yeh

Taiwan · Contemporary Lacquer Art

Yeh Hsiao-ling has dedicated herself to lacquer painting for approximately twelve years, during which time she also taught part-time at a university (from 2016 to 2018, she was a lecturer in the Department of Creative Product Design at Asia University, and currently focuses on creation). She has been invited to participate in international lacquer art exhibitions in Japan and China. Hsiao-ling's background in lacquer painting education in both Taiwan and the United States, along with her affinity for Eastern art and culture, has enabled her to create unique lacquer paintings, establishing her own style. Her works often employ lacquer painting techniques to handle Eastern flavors, resulting in a fusion of Chinese and Western styles with rich layers.
